Great Scott Cycling Club

2020 Season will start on ???, 2020

Considering guidance from national, state, and county level agencies, it has become clear that it would be socially responsible to promote social distancing by not encouraging or promoting the gathering of groups. Great Scott is suspending all group riding until further notice. We will not be starting the season on May 4th as planned. We will keep a close eye on the situation and lift the ride restriction as soon as we can. We encourage you to continue to get out and ride solo or with others in your immediate household. Stay safe, healthy and active!

Bicycling enthusiasts are invited to join the Great Scott Cycling Club. The club rides Monday and Thursday evenings from ???, 2020 through late September.
The group leaves at 6:15 PM (6:00 PM starting in late August) from Michael's Cycles in Prior Lake (behind to TJ Hooligans). Get Map.

Great Scott Cycling requires dues. Dues are $20 for a single membership, $35 for household. Dues cover insurance during official club rides, membership swag, member discounts at Michael's Cycles, and specials at TJ Hooligan's. The first ride to tryout riding with the club is free. Membership dues cover the current summer riding season. If a member joins the club in July, membership is valid for the rest of the riding season, not until the following July. Waiver form

The club is for all levels of riders. All groups except the A group have a "no-drop" policy. The chart below displays average speeds for the entire ride. There are times on flats when the groups go faster.
